I went back and checked out some stats over the last 6 weeks so we could get a better understanding on how our teams are performing as of lately... I was going to list every team and there average score, plays and player average over the last 6 weeks but I think it will be easier to look at if I list them in 3 categories instead... After I show you the list, I will add up everyone's positions inside these 3 categories and see how we rank up in the last 6 weeks. And that will be this weeks power rankings.

WEEK 17 Preview + vegas odds

Ritter vs Danny
(Ritter +63)
This should be a pretty good battle. Both averaging 19 over last 6 weeks. Should come down to who can get the most plays... Danny is trying to hold onto the #2 spot for the ever important bye in round one of playoffs. So a win this week could be very crucial... Ritter (I) need a win to lock up a playoff berth for this season. Just one more win! But it will not be a easy win, that is for sure. 


Dalton vs Duke
(Duke +33)
Right now Dalton is sitting in the 6 seed. But if he does not pick up his performance then he could miss out on the playoffs. He just so happens to be playing Duke who is breathing down his neck for a shot at the playoffs. This match is really interesting one. Duke is known for his high average and low plays. And Dalton is known for his high amount of plays but slightly below average on his player average.... The way Dalton's team has been playing, I would think Duke would have a cake walk as long as he gets 37 plays or so. 


Gher  vs Nathan
(Gher +52)
Here is another battle for the bye in round one of playoffs... Gher's team is tough one to beat. And with Nate losing Wall for awhile. I think Gher will be able to pull off this win. But none the less, this is a very important match for them both... If Nate can get the win over Gher and Danny loses to me as expected (lol) then Nathan would be the front runner for the bye... Still several weeks to play but being number 2 always makes you feel better then being number 3 right? lol


Kapper vs Todd
(Kapper +19)
This match could be a good one. Todd is tied for 6th with Duke for the last seed in the playoffs. But a win over Kapper this week would keep him in the running to make the dance... But problem is, Kapper has been doing much better lately. Getting his 2nd win on season last week over Eric, he could start to get on a roll... If you look at the last 6 week stats then Kapper beats Todd on all levels. But it is hard to count Todd out. He does have several great players and if they turn it on, he could beat anyone in this league. 


Eric vs Matt
(Matt +6)
One of the best matches of the week! Eric's average over last 6 weeks is 703 and Matt's is 709.... Matt is still in the running for the playoffs. A win this week could be very crucial to his playoff berth. Eric is beatable as it showed last week with Kapper getting his 2nd win on season vs him... Also Eric just lost Cousins for the season and the effects showed there ugly face rather quickly! Matt can always pull off the big win. He already did that vs me earlier in the year. So I am sure he will give Eric all he can handle.

I know I am a day behind but seems like a lot has happened in that day between the Clippers and Pistons. Not sure how this trade effects all the players. But seems like LA came out on top... Bradley, Harris and Marjanovic and a 1st and 2nd round pick just for Blake Griffin who has shown he is injury prone. Kind of sketchy deal. Lets see how LA benefits from this in the upcoming draft. 

Last week we saw the most points scored so far this season. I passed Eric's 881 with a 885. The bar keeps getting set higher and higher.

Last week we also saw Cousins go from best day of the year to out for the season. That's very sad because I would of loved to see how they did in playoffs together.... Also having great weeks was Drummond with 53 and GA with 58. GA's high fantasy games might be coming to a end soon with the return of Jabari Parker. Maybe in next few weeks he will start to dig into GA's late success. 

Would like to take a second and give props to Nate on a season well managed. I recommended he give up some of his guys to make room for healthy guys but he never listened to me. Now he has battled through the injury's and now has a healthy squad and our #3 ranked team. But I am still surprised he never dropped Isaiah Thomas. I wouldn't have the patients for that guy lol.

Power Ranking Week 15

Very nice week for Danny. Not only did he move up to third on the all time list of most weeks led. But he also had the most points in a day on the year with a whopping 215! Well done Danny.

It would appear that Kapper is officially ruled out of the playoffs. It might of been a few weeks ago actually but I wanted to give him few weeks to see what he could do and he won one of them weeks. But it just doesn't appear to be in the cards for Kapper this year. 

Our league is as competitive as it has ever been. Props to you owners on making this a great great league. We still have 9 teams in the running for the playoffs and even though I am 3 games up on everyone, I still feel like it could all be taken away from me if I do not get back on the winning track. 

This week is shaping up to be a very high plays week. Many team play 4 time and if you utilize them properly then everyone should have 40 plus plays or more this week.... I myself am looking at between 46-48 plays this week.

Hope you guys do not care that I stopped ranking teams from how I see them best to worst. But instead I started ranking them as if the playoffs started tomorrow... And I also started putting up every ones points they have scored on the year so you can see how the tie breakers would match up if you tied with someone. Nathan took a big hit when he had all them injury's. His points for is down compared to those around him. So you better look to have a solid record heading into the playoffs because you will probably lose most tie breakers.

We sure have a great season going fellas. A lot of excitement and still much more to play out.... Congrats to Gher on winning the week and being the only one over 800 last week. He also passed Dalton on the all time list of most weeks won. Gher is now 5th with 6 and is 2 behind Matt and Danny for 3rd all time.

Weekly average was 17.3

Few things about these averages. First off, Dalton has had 16.9 for 3 weeks in a row! The 2 weeks before that he had 18.3 and 18.2... Basically Dalton is on a roll and his team is playing consistent. 16.9 might not seem like a great great average but he gets a lot of plays with that average and that makes him really hard to beat.... Matt had a low average of 14.1(his worst on season) this passed week. But he also had his top 2 players in Simmons and Embiid play only once. I don't think this past week is a great reflection of Matt's team. He faces me this week and I am scared because he has 3 more plays more then I do on this week. 

Todd's team has really stepped up this passed week. Must be nice having Curry and Whiteside back and  playing well again. This makes Todd a tough team to beat.... Just like Danny, I think Danny has the best team in our league. That is just my opinion. Actually I would say the top 3 in my mind are like this. Danny,Eric and Duke... Duke should have 2 more wins then he does and since our league is so tough, I am afraid those few laps of focus might cost him a playoff spot. But we still have 8 weeks before that is decided.... I even still feel like me being 3 games up on everyone is not a big of enough gap for myself. My team has the most points in the league but I honestly do not see why lol. I don't have the best team but I do have a deep team. Lucky for me though I have had the fewest points in the league scored against me. Pretty lucky on my part.

Dalton sure does a great job of leading the week in plays a lot. And it shows with his overall total of 487 plays! Well done Dalton! 2nd place is a whole 16 plays behind you.... Also Danny has done great job at leading in player average for most of the year. But the last 3 weeks he has been on the down slide. He still leads by .3 over myself and Duke. And that's a tough margin to catch up to in one week. So look for Danny to keep that top spot for another week or 2.

This week had to be one of the lowest scoring weeks in the history of our league is what most of you must of been thinking this week. I mean the highest score was 706! But lets take a look down memory lane shall we... In 2015 in week 12 Kapper had high score of 681, the next year 2016, Eric lead with 699. But last year I had 808 in week 12. But besides last year. It would appear that we have a low scoring average in week 12. So don't get down if your team did't score well. 

Our league is very tight and we have many tough teams out there. Hell our last place team should of had most points scored this past week but left 51 points on the bench by accident. So that tells you that anyone can beat anyone on any given week. 


Eric took a hit in the rankings because of Harden's injury. When he comes back in week in half then I am sure Eric's team will look top notch again and we can add him back into the top 3.... But for now Danny and Dalton round off our top 3. Dalton has Towns and Lebron and a whole bunch of plays each week. That combination has made him a top contender.... Danny flat out just has a great all around team like our #1 contender does. Danny has 6 guys averaging over 18 in the last 30 days. That's half his damn team lol. But 2 of them guys are GA and Durant and they are very good players to own. 

Damn! I need to go work on the planter so I am going to just end this... I would like to talk about each team but just dont have the time. Maybe next week I will be able to.

Eric comes in as our #1 once again. If you looked up everyone's player average over the last 3 weeks then you would see Eric leads with a 19.2 but Duke is right on his tail with a 19.1... But Duke comes into 5th this week and not top 3 because he once again left players on the bench who were playing. Luckily for him, that wouldn't of changed the outcome of his match. But still hard to put a owner in top 3 who leaves plays on bench more then once. Maybe next week he will earn that top 3 spot. If he beats me this week then I am positive he will be up there.
