PLAYS KING OF 2017 Season
2016 Plays King = Todd   867
2015 Plays King = Ritter  829
After week 17 we have had 6,305 total plays on the year. Average of 630 per team. With only 4 weeks of plays left to add up. We have 4 contenders for the Plays King of 2017. In 4th right now is Ritter with 650. 3rd is Todd with 651, Matt comes in second at 653 and are leader right now is Dalton with 661. Dalton is projected the most plays this week with 55. And if he keeps that projection up he will have 716 plays on the year. But with 3 weeks to go he would have to average more then 50 plays a week to catch Todd's record. So I think Todd's record is safe or the year.
Also on the season we are averaging 17.8 points on every play. That is substantially higher then are last 2 seasons. Here are the season totals on average per play on last 3 seasons.
2015 = 16.6
2016 = 16.9
2017 = 17.8

We have 2 really close matches this week. At least we have some excitement. And here it is. Eric has to win to keep his chances alive. Gher is trying to eliminate him it would appear. Can Eric hold him off and get the win. Next week Eric faces Deek and thats a huge match for him. But first he needs to put Gher down. Will he do it?

Here is are other close match. Nate is up a little but i have these 2 guys projected to finish with in 2 points of each other. Talk about close. There both set to make the playoffs but i think Nate has chance at the 2 seed. A loss here vs Kapper and he very well could be losing that chance at a bye and instead giving Kapper the possibility of becoming a 2 seed.

I have been looking through everyone's rosters a lot lately and I noticed something the other day. Few teams have several guys on same team. For example Dane ownes Julius Randle and Nick Young. And before the trade with the Rockets he also owned another Laker in Williams. I give you this example because when I did these stats Dane was only person who owned any Laker players. Now only 2 Lakers players are owned in our league. I will talk about this more later on. But for now I want to talk about our teams and who has multiple players on one team. I think its essential to not get to many guys from one team. Like the old saying goes, dont put all your eggs into one basket. So lets see what teams have multiple players from one team.

Eric
Teague
Robinson III
Eric dropped Robinson, leaving him as the only team who doe not have duo players on a NBA team. I made this during All Star break.
Ritter
James Johnson
Waiters
Dalton
Capela
Gordon
Dane
Randle
Young
Matt
Collison
Stein
Kapper
Hill
Favors

Those 6 teams only had 2 guys from one NBA team.

Gher
Harris
Jackson
------------
Anderson
Ariza

Nathan
Noel
McConnell
--------------
Gobert
Hayward

Those 2 teams have 4 players on 2 NBA teams. But these next 2 teams have put a lot of eggs in one basket.  These 2 teams have 6 players on 3 NBA teams, making the T Wolves,Celtics and Nuggets Todd's new favorite teams and Hornets,Nuggets and Wizards Deek's new favorite teams. I think Todd and Deek should get together and watch a Nuggets game sometime lol.

2017 NBA Defense vs. Position Stats

Now for this I had to use Draft Kings scoring system. But that doesn't change the fact on how these teams have performed on the season. Below you will see what teams give up the most points per position and also what teams guard each position the best.  I am only ranking the Top 10 and the Bottom 10. Top 10 are the teams you want to face in these positions and the Bottom 10 are the teams you do not want to face. I am showing you guys this because this is what I look at when trying to figure out projections everyday. I think it helps me so I hope it helps you to.

So what your looking at below is how many points that team gives up on average to that position during the season and the last 10 games.

6. Nathan  60
7. Eric  60
8. Todd  62
9. Gher  67
10. Dane  78

It would appear that Eric, Dane and Gher are eliminated from playoff contention. Leaving just 7 teams and only 6 can make the playoffs. As of right now it looks like Todd will miss the playoffs. But his team is playing super great right now. Monroe and Wiggins have stepped up there game lately making Todd's team very tough to beat. I think it will come down to Kapper, Deek and Todd for the 5 and 6 seeds. Kapper has had a lot of injury's and has had players sit out a lot. Which has made Kapper have to fight to stay in playoffs. And now with the KINGS and PELICANS trade. Cousins will have to take a dip in production, leaving Kapper once again with a problem on his team. Deek's team usually always balls out! With his top 3 being Lebron,Wall and Jokic he will always have a chance at 200 point day when they all play. But Deek has a tough schedule in last 3 weeks and that could open the door for Todd to make the playoffs. It very well could come down to week 20 were Todd goes up against Deek. This could very well be a winner take all match.
The other 4 slots are pretty much sold already. Ritter has cemented himself as the one seed with Matt getting a loss to Todd this week. But the other bye and the 2 seed is still up for grabs. No offense Matt but i think it will come down to Nathan and Dalton for the 2 seed. Matt's team has struggled lately and his player average proves it. If he cant get his team to turn it around then Matt could be looking at a first round loss in playoffs this year. But like i said, i think it will come down to Nate and Dalton for the 2 seed. And i think Dalton will beat Nate out for that final bye slot. But we still have 3 weeks. Anything can happen.
